Burundi Microlot Bourbon natural

🇧🇮 Burundi

In stock

This specialty coffee from the Ngozi region in Burundi shows aroma notes of dried red currant, vanilla, and hibiscus. It is a Bourbon variety, naturally processed, sourced from the Mubuga Washing Station at an altitude of 1,661m, and harvested in July 2025. The coffee is a microlot selected from daylots produced at the washing station based on cup quality, sourced from over 1,900 local farmers who each cultivate an average of approximately 1/8 to 1/4 hectare and deliver freshly harvested cherries for sorting and processing; as such, microlots are usually blends from many producers, sensorially precise but generally not traceable to individual farms. The Mubuga Washing Station is equipped with 12 fermentation tanks, 3 soaking tanks, over 300 drying tables, and 4 selection stations to consistently select and process particularly ripe cherries, with final dry milling completed at the BUDECA / SIVCA Dry Mill. The coffee is imported by Café Imports.
