ESPRESSO DEEP RED is a blend of 70% Brazil and 30% El Salvador, showing aroma notes of chocolate, nut, and caramel. The Brazilian component comes from Fazenda Capim Branco in the Cerrado Mineiro region at 1,150m altitude, a Bourbon and Catuai variety processed naturally (dry), harvested in May. The El Salvadoran component comes from the Los Ausoles Washing Station in the Apaneca Llamatepec region at 1,250m altitude, a Pacas variety, washed, and harvested in February. The coffee is direct imported.

Founded in Dresden in 2006, Phoenix Coffee Roasters was among the pioneers of Germany's specialty coffee movement, helping shape a more transparent and quality-focused approach to coffee. From the beginning, the roastery has emphasized traceability and education, aiming to bridge the distance between coffee producers and consumers while highlighting the stories behind every harvest. Phoenix focuses on sourcing distinctive specialty coffees across a wide range of processing methods, including washed, natural, honey, and experimentally fermented microlots. Roasting is approached with precision to showcase each coffee's unique character, with an emphasis on clarity, complexity, and expressive flavor profiles that extend well beyond traditional chocolate and roasted notes. Today, Phoenix Coffee Roasters supplies cafés, hotels, offices, and home brewers throughout Germany while continuing to roast and produce coffee in Dresden. Its long-standing commitment to exploring exceptional coffees and celebrating the individuality of each harvest has made the roastery a respected name within the German specialty coffee community.
