FILTER COFFEE GREEN is a 100% Colombian coffee from the Monkaaba Project's Caturra Monkaaba farm in San Agustín, Huila, grown at an altitude of 1,670–1,800m, showing aroma notes of red berries, caramel, and butter cookie. It is a Caturra variety, a natural Bourbon mutation with a compact growth habit, washed, and harvested in January 2026, imported by Semilla. The San Agustín area sits at high elevations known for pronounced day–night temperature swings, and the resulting slower cherry maturation often leads to denser beans and a clean, well-defined green coffee structure. Caturra is practical for farm management and harvesting due to its compact growth habit, but is demanding to cultivate, requiring strict selective picking, solid nutrition and shade management, and careful harvesting and sorting to achieve balance, sharp definition, and distinctly articulated sweetness.
