FILTER COFFEE YELLOW is a 100% Costa Rican coffee from Finca Sabanilla, processed at the Las Lajas Micromill in Sabanilla de Alajuela, Central Valle, grown at an altitude of 1,400–1,600m. It shows aroma notes of dry fruits, date, wine-like character, and caramel. The coffee is a Casiopea (F1-Hybrid) variety, naturally processed, harvested in January 2026, and imported by Café Imports. Casiopea is a modern F1 hybrid developed by crossing Caturra with an Ethiopian landrace from the CATIE collection, combining two genetically distinct parent lines for plant vitality, productivity, and cup quality; thanks to this hybrid vigor, it can show vigorous plants, good productivity, and high sensory quality, often combining the structured sweetness of Caturra with the aromatic complexity of Ethiopian genetics.
