This 100% Arabica coffee shows aroma notes of caramel, red fruits, and cocoa, with tasting notes of cocoa, toffee, caramel, almond, and delicate fruit such as plum or sweet cherry. It comes from the Regional Select Cajamarca lot in Cajamarca, Peru, grown at an altitude of 1,600–1,900m by small-scale producers who typically cultivate two to three hectares, many working according to organic principles or organized in cooperatives. The coffee is a blend of Catimor, Bourbon, and Typica varieties, washed, and harvested in October 2025, imported by Café Imports. Cajamarca is located in the north-eastern Andes, offering fertile soils, high altitudes, and a semi-dry, tropical-cool climate, and is considered Peru's central coffee region, accounting for around a quarter of national coffee production. Rather than tracing to a single farm, Regional Select Peru forms a carefully compiled lot with regional traceability and a clear origin profile.
