Rozali Coffee is a Berlin-based specialty coffee roastery founded in 2017 by David Rozali, an Indonesian-born Q-Grader with deep experience in the global coffee industry. After working as both a barista and an accountant in Australia, and later at Berlin’s renowned roastery The Barn, David launched Rozali Coffee with a simple mission: to make high-quality, flavorful coffee accessible to everyone. David’s journey began in Yogyakarta and Kupang, Indonesia, and took shape in Sydney, where he discovered specialty coffee while studying accounting. By the time he became a certified Q-Grader in 2015, he had already built expertise in assessing and roasting coffees at an international level. This background fuels Rozali Coffee’s core philosophy: coffee should highlight its natural flavors rather than the bitterness often associated with commodity blends. Rozali Coffee sources exceptional beans from producers worldwide, with an emphasis on ethical partnerships and sustainable farming practices. Using advanced roasting technology and meticulous profiling, the roastery produces clean, balanced coffees that bring out the full potential of each origin. Their offerings include seasonal single-origins, blends, and a unique “Test Roast” program designed to reduce waste while offering customers a chance to try experimental batches.
